My resume is weird: cold-called CEOs from a New York office, built a marketplace app in Kenya, consulted banks in three countries, helped build a luxury watch brand, sold stuff on Amazon, wrote ebooks.
Today a crew of agents runs my house, my work, my projects. One briefs me before every call. Another kept flagging my salad purchases as wasted money until it learned that I have turtles. I never picked a lane. Turns out that was the lane.

People whose work made me build differently. If you only know one of them, this is a decent afternoon.
- 🚀Marc Lou failed in public for years and kept shipping small things anyway, until some of them worked. He is the biggest reason I build my own things again instead of only for clients, and let curiosity pick the projects. This page is one of them.
- ✍️Neville Medhora plain, funny, human, and it still sells. I do not write like him yet. I want to.
- 🏦Noah Kagan everything starts smaller than you think, and rejection will not kill you. He has people ask for a discount on their coffee to prove it. I still have not done it.
- 🌴Pieter Levels 12 startups in 12 months, one guy, one laptop, no team, no funding, real revenue. One of the first builders who made me think I could do this too. I never jumped back then. Family, and if I am honest, fear. So I am doing it now instead, one small thing at a time.
- 📜Tim Ferriss The 4-Hour Workweek made me question what business school had sold me as fixed, and whether I actually wanted the life I was working toward. I changed the goals, not just the calendar.
- 🎡Justin Jackson one of the first builders I followed, and always raw about what building actually costs. He posts less these days. I miss it.
- 🎙️Shaan Puri & Sam Parr My First Million, two guys thinking out loud about business ideas. I liked them better when they were small and nobody knew them. For a long time they were the friends in my ear who cared about the same things nobody around me cared about. In the dark years that helped more than they know.
- 🎈Jason Zook sold his last name and wore t-shirts for a living. Permission to do weird stuff and let the freak flag fly, business plan optional.
Why aloha
Aloha is not just Hawaiian for hello. It means presence, breath, meeting people with warmth. I picked the name in the hardest year of my life, as a reminder of how I wanted to come out of it. It stuck. So did I. 🤙
